NEW CAFE
Semester-long project on branding and creating a brand manual for an imaginary museum. I decided to make a museum on drinks after my trip to Korea and seeing all the quirky and different drinks and designs.

LOGO
DESIGN
Since the logo is one of the biggest elements of branding, I spent most of my time working on different logos and variations. I looked at how I could play with the possible names of the museum (MoDrinks, WYDM, Drinks) in several different ways –by putting subtle changes and clues, using abstraction, and using small illustrations.
Here are several images from my moodboard. I collected images that would include colors and styles that Generation Z would be interested in. The mood and style is clean and new, with unexpected color and pattern combinations. It is heavy on gradients since they are more customizable and they can fit into many different kinds of people.

PALETTE, LOCKUP & FONTS
The color palette is fun, but also not childish. The colors are muted to fit any age. The fonts are also selected to match different ages. Noto serif is transitional, therefore it includes some old and some modern styles. Karla is clean and easy to read. The combination of these fonts creates texture.

Museum of Drinks aims to represent all
kinds of drinks. It helps people of any age
and type pick their special drink while
exploring interesting drinks & designs
learning new recipes & histories. It’s an
experimental and interactive museum and
it allows the visitors to view and also test
products to find their favorite.
It acts as a match making museum where
the ones who do not know what drink is
their drink learn and test drinks to decide
which is the one.

POSTER DESIGNS
Museum of Drinks logo is designed to be the brand, therefore the abstracted letters on the logo are used to create the brand. These posters are for promoting the Museum opening, the posters can either be used together or separate. Every letter in the logo can be completed into shapes of glasses.

LANDING PAGE
The landing page also uses the shapes from the posters. Here, they are even more abstracted. These pages bring back the main idea of the Museum which is "matching people with their drinks".

BROCHURE
DESIGNS
The brochures are designed to complete each other while being complete on their own. They include the letters from the logo, and shapes from the posters. There is a small folded paper with information & a postcard / illustrated information card inside the cutout folders. The folders are like drink bottles, they include the core on the inside, and when it is taken out, the color is gone.
