MVA REBRANDING

YEAR

2017

Typographical project working on redesigning and rebranding the Motor Vehicle Administration forms. To make them easier and more pleasurable to use.

The restriction I had during this project was that I could only use black and white, so I present you a combination of serif & sans-serif type experiment.
I used serif for titles to bring more decoration to the forms since I can not use color. I used sans serif for the rest so that the forms would be more clear and easy to fill out.

The forms are 7.5 x 11 and they fold horizontally to fit perfectly in the folder which helps with organization.

LOGO

The logo needed to be very simple and sort of elegant to work well with the forms, therefore thicker strokes, and too obvious shapes did not work well. It is placed near the form titles which are thick and big, so I kept the logo thinner
and less complex. In the end, I managed to simplify the logo to just initials creating a shape together.
