Overview I joined YouTube TV as an intern and spent 7 years of evolving a product from an early streaming app to a modern, cross-platform live TV experience. Here’s a look at the systems, redesigns, and everyday craft that shaped it along the way.
My journey started off as a core designer, working on major redesigns scaling from big TV screens to smaller mobile screens and a few new feators
Create patterns and designs that are reused by YouTube
Impact
Represented 2.64% of paid starts in January (+85% growth since last update), trial retention rate of 85.4% vs 46% for overall users
…then I decided to pivot and moved to another side of the product supporting retention and growth, learning about data and focusing on retention projects.
Helping shape new sports plans and working on cancel flow improvements and balancing acquisition with retention.
